”Gioia” Giru Corsica 2010 has started: Folelli!

By Petra van der Veen, 2 August 2010 11:08

Last night the Giru 2010 started. It is named after the last album, “Gioia”. The “room” was quite full in Folelli, where the wind was a bit strong but for the rest it was perfect weather for the concert. For those who have already seen the band play this year, there were little surprises, or it should have been the acousticly performed “Teni Bonu”.

This website: singing with Jean-François, Alain and César in Groningen

By Petra van der Veen, 27 July 2010 22:58

The northerners of the Netherlands knew how to sing along with Jean-François, Alain and César in Groningen. Afterwards many people remained behind to mingle with the men. They also asked questions! Read the report here.

I Muvrini in Le Zénith, Paris, March 27: Inseme Si Pò (Together we can)!

By Petra van der Veen, 4 April 2010 12:49

The concert at Le Zénith in Paris was of course the pièce de résistance of this European tour, and for me it was certainly that. A concert hall with a capacity of more than 6000 people, and that was almost completely filled, had been turned upside down at the end of the show. Here is a video of one of the encores, “Inseme Si Po”, when many people came forward to the stage to express their appreciation to the band.

I Muvrini in Geneve - Photo Christian Buffa, Corse Matin

Today the Corse Matin seems to be about nothing else than I Muvrini!!! A reporter visited a concert in Geneva and this has resulted in a report of the concert, an interview with Jean-François Bernardini and a photo shoot. Click on the links to read and view it all. Later this weekend I will make a summary of the articles!

German reviews concerts in Mainz and Hamburg (Germany)

By Petra van der Veen, 7 March 2010 22:51

Jean-Francois and Alain Bernardini in Mainz

It does not happen very often that a review is written about one of the concerts of I Muvrini. The German newspaper Allgemeine Zeiting took the trouble to write one. The title is already revealing: “Seelen-Streichler Korsika aus” (“Soul Caressers from Corsica”). Click here to read it. You can also find a review about the concert in Hamburg on the internet.
